Amaya walked into the base with her back slouched. While she’d been successful, the mission she’d just been on had been a stressful one. Still, it wasn’t good to dwell on stressful things.

Then she heard footsteps from behind her and remembered why she’d come back to base in the first place. She had something else to do!

“Oh. Good day, Sir.” Amaya straightened her back a little, then bowed slightly. “Sorry for being late – just got back from a mission. I suppose you’ll want to brief me on the specs of this mission now?”

Amaya nodded. “Yes, I can do that. You know how the game works, of course; I know someone who knows someone, and so on and so forth.” She resisted the urge to bow mockingly; she always did have a flair for the dramatic, but it was unprofessional of her to show it off right now. She wanted to make a good impression on her superior.

“So, what do you need me to steal, Sir?” At this stage, Amaya couldn’t help but notice that Cillian wasn’t drinking anything. Well, it was his choice, she supposed.

Pry too much, and this sort could get cagey. If they got cagey, there was a possibility they'd turn information to the other side instead. They're the kinds of people Cillian keeps a close eye on, just in case.[break][break]

But Amaya hasn't done anything to raise suspicion, yet.[break][break]

"We've heard whispers that the League are preparing for something big." Pale fingers drum softly against the bar. "And if we've heard whispers, then those who stake themselves on the League's success will have heard the same. Documents, flash drives, recordings... anything you can get that's concrete." His lip curves into a mockery of a smile. "If it can be used as blackmail against individuals who don't want their benefactors to know they've got loose lips, I'll pay extra."
